Work history:

UTS College

Academic Coordinator
Jun 2021 - Ongoing
As a member of the Design and Architecture stream, I write, maintain and deliver both Architectural Communications subjects. In this pair, we provide the foundational technical and theoretical knowledge students need to communicate develop and their ideas effectively.

Subject Coordinator
Jul 2020 – Jun 2021
As a part of the Diploma of Architecture, I am the Coordinator and Lecturer for Spatial Communications. In addition, I am performing curriculum development and tutoring for both Spatial Communications, and Architecture Model making.

These courses provide the developmental foundation of architectural representation techniques, as well as design analysis and synthesis through physical working models, respectively. They are each contextualised by relevant historical and contemporary discourse, to provide both the technical and theoretical backbone of their ongoing architectural education.

Curriculum Developer
May 2020 – Jul 2020
Course development and adaptation of Spatial Communications from UTS DAB to UTS Insearch. The course bears the foundation of both graphical representation and design communication. We aim to equip students with the tools to investigate and deliver design through the full suite of architectural visual mediums.

Curriculum Developer
Jan 2020 – May 2020
Development of Architecture Modelmaking at Insearch with Paula Vigeant. A course designed to teach architectural design and history through the mediums employed by architects ranging from Frei Otto to Sou Fujimoto. The course aims to foster a hands on approach to design exploration through physical Modelmaking.
This course was written from the ground up for blended learning delivery mode to run throughout 2020.

Cox Architecture

Architectural Researcher / Computational Designer - Cox Architecture
Jun 2019 – 2021
I work across multiple teams developing digital design tools, leveraging emerging technology for architectural and urban design, and creating platforms for research, development, and dissemination.

Research includes: partnership with USYD via Simon Weir:
Investigation of Stereotomy driven foam fabrication for industrial applications, creation of digital user interface to provide visual feedback and promote remote collaboration.

Graduate of Architecture / Computational Designer
Nov 2017 – Jun 2019
As a part of the Computational Design Group (CDG) I worked across many project types, performing as both an architectural designer and urban planner generating bottom up solutions through computationally driven design.

Student Planner / Computational Designer
Jun 2015 – Nov 2017
Early work was with the planning team as a part of the Computational Design Group (CDG). I worked across both conventional and digital design processes to provide the best outcome on a given project. My role evolved across my first 18 months covering a wide range of project types including urban design, master planning, feasibility studies and detailed facade design.

During this time, I performed as the manager of the digital fabrication tools for in house model and prototype production.
