| The Gopro as a means to capture architectural space has advantages in that it’s large Field of View (FOV) provides far more context than is typically possible in a photograph.

This comes with a price, as one moves from narrow FOV / high lens length cameras such as telephoto which can provide psudo orthographic images, towards high FOV / low lens length such as a go pro you arrive at highly distorted images.

Through the advent of digital lens correction and the ability to force the alignment of objects to be parallel (such as the verticals as seen in architectual 2 point perspectives), we can produce elevations of facades that would normally be impossible to see ‘front on’.
