Ohlen Freshwin Market

| This project is a collaboration led by Kaunitz Yeung Architecture and is one of their range of Pro bono works. My part was in the design development and documentation of the market hall that forms a gateway for the larger development ‘New Port Villa Neighbourhood’ that can be viewed here.

During the current stage of this project, we are resolving the structural detailing for ease of assembly by local tradespeople. Though the design is digitally driven, the outcome should be as straight forward and of high tolerance as possible. At most, only a few elements can be prefabricated, with the majority of timber being cut and aligned on site using manual measurements.
